Ignis Fatuus

"It is yet the lure, the ignis fatuus of almost every breathing heart." - The "Genius" T. Dreiser
"The only solitude is sleep or death." Ignis Fatuus Charles Bukowski

Ignis Fatuus and the Wil O' the Wisp
we wrap ourselves in death
and walk to the edge of the frame.
we hover,
phosphorescent and foolish,
constructing each breath
from methane and decay.
slight of hand makes us two.
a mask dims our eyes.
black is the ground; black is the sky.

  1. Only downsides here was that I’m not sure if they were expecting such a crowd as they did not have nearly enough servers and sometimes it would take a really long time for service guy to come. But at Chicago event venues they tried to keep a smiles on their face.
